Dr. Robert J. Gregory, Ed. D., NCSP, LPC, CSMS, CFMHE I herald from the general Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area of the country, where I currently practice full-time as a Psychologist within the public school system. I also conduct individual therapy with both children and adults, along with marital and family therapy in the outpatient department of a community mental health facility, located in Leechburg, Pennsylvania. Further, I currently serve as an adjunct instructor for Argosy University Online and the University of the Rockies. I also conduct independent psycho-educational assessments for various cyber-charter schools throughout Western Pennsylvania. Although I have just received my license to practice independently as a psychologist in Pennsylvania, I had previously earned my doctorate in Educational and School Psychology in 2008 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Prior to that, I had earned a specialty certificate in School Psychology in 1999 from the same university. Further still, I earned a masters degree in Counseling Services from IUP in 1996, along with gaining corresponding licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor, under which I practiced in the mental health realm until my recent licensure as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Although my original research interests included a novel approach to academically supporting students, known as Response to Intervention (RTI), upon which my dissertation was based, I more recently have gained increased appreciation for forensic psychology, for which I have obtained certificates of advanced study as a Certified Sentence Mitigation Specialist and Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator in recent years. On a personal note, and most importantly, I am married and the father of an eight-year old daughter, whom I enjoy spending the majority of my free time. Sparingly, I am also a long distance cyclist, concentrating primarily on Gran Fondos, and power lifter, lifting on a competitive basis primarily in the deadlift and strict curl competitions.
